Captain Ben and Sail Bainbridge have partnered with the Puget Sound Restoration Fund science dive team to support a number of research and restoration efforts throughout Central Puget Sound.

Our little boat that could, TOKI, has been fit out as a research dive vessel, transporting the dive crew to multiple research sites throughout the sound.

It’s been an absolute dream working with such a brilliant, inspired and effective team of science divers.

Captain Ben is thrilled to have found a way to support efforts to ensure the health and longevity of the Salish Sea – and to work closely on bull kelp science in particular (he is a bit of a bull kelp nerd).

Further, it means the world to him to carry on the good work that our dearly missed friend and fellow kelp-lover, Jeff Waite, had been so committed to.
