Our flagship, TRUE, turns 60 this year. She was launched in Newport, RI in 1965 to buyers who moved her to their home in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. From there she moved to Corpus Christi, TX for 25 years or so, before a time in Southern California, then a move to Washington – Bainbridge Island, actually, which is where we found her just over a dacade ago. We remember thinking how fun it was to own a 50 year old boat – with her beautiful lines and stunning ketch rig. Now, ten years, countless hours of sailing and unimaginable hours of labor later, we love her more and she’s in the best shape of her life. She’s arguable looking and functioning better today than she was in 1965. We are delighted to get to share her with all of you.
