Introducing Bioluminescence Tours

We are officially offering nighttime bioluminescence tours this summer. We will begin these as soon as we start seeing blooms (most likely June). We’ll offer them on the few nights per month that have a lesser or new moon cycle, and times will vary depending on darkness. These biolights are a product of micro and macro organisms that light up when disturbed – like fireflies, but in the water!

We’ll load up on our fast boat, TOKI, to transport to Blakely Harbor, where we’ll explore the biolights by paddleboard or rigid inflatable boat depending on the group needs. We’re offering this for up to 4 people. You can check out the website for details.

If you haven’t experienced the magic of bioluminescence this is a must do! It’s so magical. I live with this stuff all around me and I never tire of its brilliance.
