What kind of sailboat is this?
TRUE comes from the design desk of world-renowned naval architect, John Alden, who designed over 1000 boats, including the majestic schooners of the 1930s and 40s. His work, without question, represents great American boat design, and our 44-foot Pearson Countess Ketch, TRUE, is no exception.
Can I bring food and beverages on the boat?
We have refrigeration and a galley stocked with all the glassware, flatware, plates and bowls you might need aboard. You are welcome to bring any food and drink you’d like. We provide water, tea and coffee.
What do I need to bring on my sail?
Please wear non-marking shoes and try not to wear heels.
Bring a layer as it tends to be 10 degrees cooler on the water (we do provide wet-weather sailing gear).

We ask that you try not to bring any single-use plastic disposables onboard as to best ensure the health and safety of our waterways. We have everything you’ll need!

Where are you located?
233 Parfitt Way SW
Bainbridge Island, WA 98110
We can be found on the docks of HARBOR MARINA just waterside of the HARBOUR PUBLIC HOUSE – there is no gate on our pier or dock (233 Parfitt Way SW – NOT Doc’s Marina Grill or Winslow Warf Marina).
Honestly, it’s best to just enter “Harbour Public House” into your maps app. You can park in the Pub parking lot and make your way down 5 or 10 min before departure time. Look for the big red sailboat!
What do I do if I am taking the ferry to Bainbridge Island?
If you are arriving to Bainbridge Island by WA State Ferry please be sure to be quite early to the ferry you need to take. We highly suggest catching an earlier ferry to ensure you arrive to us on time. Summer ferries especially can be delayed or off-schedule. We have a lovely small town you can explore if you have time to kill. With our tight sailing schedule we can not extend your time and we do not issue refunds for missed or late ferries.
Can I walk from the ferry to the dock?
Yes, it is a lovely 25 minute walk through our little town of Winslow with all it’s local shops and cafes.

Do you have multiple boats?
No, we just have the one sailboat.
I am a Captain, can I rent your boat to sail it myself?
No we do not offer bareboat charters. We captain the vessel for all sails.
